Say Goodbye to Laugh Lines and Creases

Long since are the days of outdated injectable fillers! While most doctors in the past have voiced a support for the use of injectable fillers to treat deep facial creases, hollows of the temple, or soft tissue volume, the truth remains, outdated methods get dated results. Now there is a quick, natural appearing, solution that some have called, “the liquid facelift”

Dr. Caglia is one of the nation’s largest consumers of Sculptra, a revolutionizing stimulating filler that is injected into the target area allowing for optimum facial contouring. Restoring the client’s facial structure and allowing for the opportunity to correct signs for conditions such as Lipoatrophy or the loss of facial fat.

Composed primarily of Poly-L-lactic acid (PLAA) it is biocompatible and biodegradable, allowing the body to break it down much easier.

Used with facial restoration therapies like, Botox, CO2 laser skin resurfacing Sculptra enhances treatments, shining though, delivering a natural, youthful you without time consuming and painful surgeries.

What does a Sculptra treatment consist? What is recovery like?

In most cases it takes less than an hour to complete a Sculptra treatment session that is performed in our office with Dr. Caglia. After a light layer of Lidocaine is applied to the area of treatment, small injections are made filling up the area. Though the area is filled, results are not instant. However, excellent and predictable results are typical as any swelling is often gone within 5-7 days. While tenderness, some discomfort, and bruising at the injection site, are rare side effects, Dr. Caglia’s patients have reported no down time need after the procedure. Sculptra has many benefits over traditional methods that leave patients smiling.

  • Excellent facial contouring
  • No recover time
  • Biocompatible and Biodegradable

How soon will I see the results?

While Sculptra facial treatments are not immediate, after the initial injection, the face will be fuller and visibly improved. As each person is different, some may be required by their doctor to return for a post treatment examination. Sculptra treatments need to be reapplied every 14-18 months.

Will Sculptra stop the soft tissue loss on my face?

While Sculptra does make the appearance of skin firmer and smoother, it technically does not stop the loss of soft tissue. It does however, surround and provide your skin with a layer of thickness that gives an undeniably natural look.
